Edition of 550 copies. This is a special copy printed for (and signed by) the author, on China paper, with a suite without text of the illustrations, borders, and ornaments.

From the collection of Luis de Caralt, a Barcelona publisher who was Spain's leading collector of modern illustrated books (his bookplate).
4to. Loose as issued in original board folder (neatly rebacked, ties mostly missing). Very good internally, with occasional foxing, mostly marginal.
The prospectus reveals that a copy on China paper would have cost, at the time of issue, five times the price of a regular copy.
