Condition : In good condition with one vertical discoloration stain on the left border margin and some printing marks on the upper right margin. Image very clean otherwise.
Issued for his famous book "Klänge" (Sounds) described by Kandinsky as a "musical album" published in 1913 by R. Piper & Co., Munich. The artist made the fifty-six woodcuts in this book between 1907 and 1912. A few of them were reprinted from the original woodblocks and published 1974 in an illustrated monograph, with the collaboration of his wife Nina Kandinsky.

La signature de Kandinsky se trouve dans la gravure sur bois avec l'initiale K en bas à droite.
Il s'agit de la deuxième édition.

Condition : En bon état avec une tache de décoloration verticale dans la marge gauche et quelques marques d'impression dans la marge supérieure droite. L'image est par ailleurs très propre.
Publié pour son célèbre livre "Klänge" (Sons) décrit par Kandinsky comme un "album musical" publié en 1913 par R. Piper & Co. à Munich. L'artiste a réalisé les cinquante-six gravures sur bois de ce livre entre 1907 et 1912. Quelques-unes d'entre elles ont été réimprimées à partir des planches originales et publiées en 1974 dans une monographie illustrée, avec la collaboration de son épouse Nina Kandinsky.
